1. Who we are
HBT Global Enterprise Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 16912621 and trade from Nottingham, United Kingdom. You can contact us about anything in this policy at contact@hbtglobal.co.uk.
2. What data we collect
- Enquiry data — if you email us, use the quote form (which opens an email in your own mail app) or submit our contact form, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number and the content of your message.
- Theme and notice preferences — stored only in your own browser's local storage (see our Cookie Policy). This data never leaves your device.
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
3. Why we process it (lawful basis)
- Responding to enquiries and quotes — our legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and, where you are asking to do business with us, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Providing services you have ordered — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Record keeping required of a UK limited company — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
4. Who we share it with
Contact form submissions may be processed by Formspree, Inc., which delivers the form contents to our email inbox and acts as our processor. Purchases made through eBay or Amazon are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies — we only receive the order details needed to fulfil your purchase. We do not sell personal data.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 2 years so we can deal with follow-ups. Records relating to orders and invoices are kept for 6 years as required for UK tax and company-law purposes.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email contact@hbtglobal.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Security and transfers
We keep personal data in access-controlled email and business systems. Where a processor (such as Formspree) stores data outside the UK, transfers rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new "last updated" date.
